ChemVM Web App BEFORE AND AFTER
ChemVM is a pre-funding startup company intent on disrupting the Chemical services industry via a digital marketplace. These are early beta designs shoe-stringed to get the concept in front of target beta customers. I led UX research to steer the design away from a chemical engineer-centric concept to a consumer-centric experience.
Before
ChemVM Web APP After
ChemVM’s main value proposition is matching manufacturing needs with capacity and capability. To do this, the customer must enter a fair amount of information. One way to give them a “carrot” to keep inputting data is to show a dynamic number/range of available matches. The more data, the better the match quality.
After
CHEMVM WEB APP additive data
Through extensive beta testing, we found customers appreciated the level of data needed, but wanted to fill out what they wanted, when they wanted. The design below allows the customer to review any missing data at the end of the input process, and quickly access and input additional data.
NETSPEND Mobile APP
Netspend is banking for the non-banked and underbanked. One of the main benefits for Netspend customers is a best-in-class mobile banking app. Consistently highly rated 4.2 stars on the Google Play app store.
Netspend Mobile App Dashboard
Concepts for the next iteration of the Netspend Mobile App. The UX team tirelessly concepts new ways to engage the Netspend customers and add value to the mobile platform. These concepts are pushing the conversation with the company as to how best to serve the customers.
Netspend Corporate Portal
The B2B side of the Netspend business is Paycards for employers. This portal allows the employer to create, fund and distribute Paycards to their employees.
ni.com home page
The NI.com home page had to accommodate multiple business requirements, including localization into 20+ languages and support for a variety of promotional spaces.
ni.com accounts for a large percentage of global revenue. As such, ensuring maximum usability on the model pages so customers could be confident and quickly make their purchases was a constant challenge. We were constantly revising and monitoring the designs for optimal use.
Software Getting Started Experiences
National Instruments LabVIEW is NI's flagship product. As part of my R&D freelancing, I worked on concepts for a new getting-started experience, as getting users into the product was crucial for adoption. While these designs are old now, at the time, they were innovative, as the engineers had designed the interfaces before I got involved in design.
